Sunday is a terrific time to Connect with God through celebrating relationship with Jesus in Song/Praise. We have a live worship band with a contemporary worship style.
We have also set aside a portion at the end of each Sunday Service for Connecting to God through prayer. We believe that through relationship with Jesus we can and should take some time to ask God to meet our needs, thank God for meeting needs, or simply respond to the teaching by committing ourselves to applying His Word to our lives so that it becomes our Way of life.
Sunday evenings are a great time to Grow in new life and faith in Jesus. Due to the dynamics of a diverse community of believers we have chosen to utlize each Sunday evening a little differently.
The FIRST Sunday of each month is Women's Bible Study.
The SECOND Sunday of each month is Adult Bible Study . T
The THIRD Sunday of each month is Adult Bible Study.
The FOURTH Sunday of each month is Prayer meeting.
*Childrens Class is available during Corporate Bible Study.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Our church is casual - you won't find too many suits and ties at CCF. Dress in a way that you feel comfortable and allows you to connect with God. Some people wear jeans, some wear sportcoats and nice dresses. It's up to you, but the bottom line is that you shouldn't feel pressured to connect with God through what you wear. Our atttention should be focused on Jesus Christ, not on what we wear.
WHAT WILL I EXPERIENCE?
The first thing you'll experience is a warm, inviting and friendly greeting time. We feel that a hug and a hand shake is a great way to express God's love to each other.
The second thing you'll experience is a live band that leads us in worshipping God. The music will definitely be different from the traditional organ and choir. You'll also see some people raising their hands as a biblical expression of worship towards God.
The third thing you'll experience is a Biblical teaching that is relevant to today. We'll use multiple verses and translations of the Bible and sometimes a series of messages to better understand what God is saying to us here and now.
IS THERE CHILDREN SERVICE?
Yes, there is children service (Kids Konnect) every other week immediatly follwing our worship services. On the first Sunday of every month Pastor spends a few minutes during the morning service to present world missions to our children. Pastor speaks to the kids about a different country and/or missionary and the children learn about a true missionary story complete with coloring worksheets.
